Joanne Daykin

Photo of Joanne DaykinJoanne has over 15 years experience as a consultant and facilitator. Working with teams, communities and organizations throughout North and South America and Asia, she uses an Appreciative Inquiry Approach and takes a whole systems perspective to help her clients discover their very best and achieve their dreams. Joanne uses an experiential approach to training and team building and is the first in Canada to combine this within an Appreciative Inquiry framework. In 1997, Joanne founded ND Learning Centre, a consulting and facilitation firm and in 2004 became a Principal in IPI. She earned her BSSc from the University of Ottawa and her BEd from York University. She is an accredited master trainer/facilitator in Total Quality Management (ASQ) and is a graduate of the Third Party Neutral and Conflict Resolution program (Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution). Joanne enjoys trail running, adventure travel and gardening. She resides in Ottawa, Canada with her husband and two small children.

Joan Chadbourne Ed.D.

She adapts strength-based approaches to achieve results. She teaches leadership and change management at Husson College and coaches organizations and individuals in the practical application of strength-based principles. Her clients include many entrepreneurial organizations, financial institutions including Hanover Insurance and Key Bank, retail distribution organizations including LLBean, manufacturing organizations including Domtar/Georgia Pacific, not-for-profit organizations including YWCA and Unity Church. She is a career coach who writes a monthly on-line article at www.Mainejobs.com. She is writing a book, Bringing Spirit to Work: Stories of Those Who Dare. She has made presentations throughout the United States and Mexico and has published articles in professional journals and newspapers. Joan is based in Portland, Maine.

Michael (Mike) J. Feinson

Photo of Mike FeinsonMike has helped organizations – from hospitals to technology companies – to hire exceptional performers, maximize the talent of their workforce, and implement new ways to boost performance.  He specializes in using Appreciative Inquiry, an approach to change that generates solutions to challenges by identifying and amplifying successes and best practices. Clients consistently refer to Mike’s exceptional facilitation skills and his ability to blend insightful management theory with practical application and results.  Prior to joining IPI, Mike founded a consulting business, worked as a performance consultant for Nextel Communications, and for Starbucks Coffee he helped launch the company’s East Coast operations.  He is a faculty member of the American Management Association.  Mike earned his BA in human resources from American University and his MBA in organization development from Boston University.  In his free time he enjoys running in Rock Creek Park, traveling and cooking.  He lives with his wife in Washington, DC.

Roselyn Kay

She also coaches leaders and teams to enhance collaboration, deepen self-awareness, and build capacity for change. Among the many clients she has served include Points of Light Foundation/Volunteer Center National Network, Miss Hall’s School, Celera Genomics, HUD, NASA, Fannie Mae, NCB, AFGE and Cenlar. Roz founded New Heights Group LLC, an executive coaching and consulting business in 2001 and in 2004 became a Principal in IPI Prior to founding New Heights Roz was a Director, Single Family Business at Fannie Mae and she held senior level positions in financial institutions in New Hampshire. She holds an MSOD from American University/NTL and earned her BS in business management. In her free time she enjoys the beach, biking, traveling and reading. She lives with her husband in Washington, DC.

Robert (Bob) A. Laliberte, PMP

Photo of Bob LaliberteBob has managed or consulted to organizations for more than 30 years in the field of high-performance work system design, redesign and project management.  His focus is on innovative whole system change approaches and he has led the design/redesign and implementation of many organizations. Key clients have included Lafarge, Georgia-Pacific, Esthetic and Reconstructive Dentistry and St. Mary’s Hospital. For 20 years prior to consulting, Bob worked in engineering or OD/HR capacities for American Optical, Polaroid and lastly Domtar where he led the organizational design and start-up of the Newington site, still recognized as one of the most productive wallboard facilities in the world.  He holds a BSME from Northeastern, an MS in Management Science from WPI; teaches the Project Management Certificate Program at two universities and is adjunct faculty at the University of Maine. Bob lives with his wife in Sebago, Maine, and enjoys building boats and outdoor activities.

Ada Jo Mann

Photo of Ada Jo MannAda Jo has 35 years of experience collaborating with clients using strength-based approaches to strategic planning; program development and evaluation; inter-organizational partnerships; team building, and training.   She is a founder and co-owner of Appreciative Inquiry Consulting, and was Director of a multi-million dollar grant from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).  A pioneer in the field of Appreciative Inquiry, she has advised or trained over 800 leaders and has directed or participated in assignments in over 50 countries. Current and past clients include: Academy for Educational Development, ADRA, Arlington County, Virginia HR Department, CARE, Chemonics, John Snow International, Pact Inc., Save the Children, Social Impact, US Agency for International Development, US Peace Corps, and World Vision.  Ada Jo is based in Washington, DC and when she is not out being walked by her Cocker Spaniels, she enjoys ballet at the Kennedy Center and snorkeling beautiful reefs wherever her travels take her.

Catherine McKenna

Photo of Catherine McKenna Catherine has over 16 years of experience helping teams and whole systems with strategic planning, organization design, culture change, team building and mentor program design. In 2000 she established her own consultancy after eleven years in management development and line human resources at Nortel Networks. Catherine is known for her strong collaborative skills, expert facilitation and a deep knowledge of strength-based change. She has designed and facilitated training in interpersonal effectiveness, team leadership, mentoring and Appreciative Inquiry in the public and private sectors. Catherine earned both her B.A. in Psychology and her Masters in Industrial Relations from Queen's University. She holds an Organization Development certificate from the National Training Laboratories Institute and she is certified in MBTI and DiSC profile systems. Some representative clients are Defence Research and Development  Canada, Health Canada, Nunavut  Arctic College, Pinecrest-Queensway Community Health Centre, St. Michael School and Corel Corporation. Catherine lives in the country near Ottawa, Canada with her husband and four children.

Bernard J Mohr

Photo of Bernard J MohrBernard is a pioneer in the field of Appreciative Inquiry, specializing in the creation of cultures, structures and systems that are economically sustainable and worthy of commitment from their employees and communities. A frequent keynote speaker who has written four books and numerous articles on organizational change, he completed his studies in psychology (Waterloo), organization development (Toronto) and organization design (Columbia). Representative clients include AT&T, British Airways, BP, CBC, Coca Cola, Domtar/Georgia Pacific, Exxon, GlaxoSmithKline, Hannaford/Delhaize, Internal Revenue Service, LL Bean, National Defense/Canada, Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, Novo Nordisk, Pearson Peacekeeping Centre and the University of Maine System. A member of the Taos Institute advisory board and a senior faculty in Complex Systems Change at NTL Institute, he has also taught at the Universities of Ottawa, Concordia, Dayton and Cornell, as well as the Canadian Centre For Management Development, and the Danish Center for Management. Jen Hetzel Silbert

Photo of Jen Hetzel SilbertJen is an experienced consultant, trainer, and facilitator supporting public and private sector organizations around the world.  Her passion is to help clients reframe current challenges and build upon compelling goals in a manner that is highly participatory and informed by collective strengths, best practices, values, and hopes for the future.   Jen’s primary offerings include Appreciative Inquiry (positive change) applied to strategic planning, process innovation, community/nation development, teaming, and organization design. She holds dual BS degrees in international studies and economics from American University, and an MS in organization development from Johns Hopkins.  Some of Jen’s clients include the US Agency for International Development (USAID), Nextel, American Red Cross, the United Nations, and the US National Intelligence Community. You can find Jen, who’s also a former marathon coach, running with her dog along the shores of Rhode Island, where she lives with her husband and daughter.

Tony Silbert, M.S.O.D.

Photo of Tony SilbertTony has over 18 years of experience in organizational development, change leadership consulting, training design and delivery. His areas of expertise include Appreciative Inquiry for large-scale change, team development, strategic planning, and organization design. He earned his Master of Science degree in organization development from American University/NTL Institute. He is a co-owner of Appreciative Inquiry Consulting and faculty of National Training Laboratories (NTL).  Tony was the keynote speaker at the Treasury Board of Canada’s Classification symposium (2003) and the co-project director for the 2nd International Conference on AI (2004). He has been a guest lecturer at George Washington University and has led numerous training sessions on positive approaches to planning and change. Past and current clients include Allstate, Blackbaud, MetroHealth System, Bell Canada Enterprises, American Express, U.S. Agency for International Development, Immigration and Naturalization Service, Mellon Bank, Points of Light Foundation, Social Security Administration, U.S. Intelligence Community, Department of Treasury and Department of Health and Human Services. Tony lives in Wakefield, Rhode Island, with his wife and daughter.
